Job Description & Person Specifications

Position: Accountant Direct Report: CEO Job Location: Abuja or Lagos Role Summary The role of the accountant is summarily the accurate recording, rendition and Analysis of the Company’s Financial Operations in accordance with professional standards.

A. Key Accountabilities 1. Professionally maintain the Accounting Records of the Company. 2. Support Management in the preparations of Business Plans and Budgets. 3. Prepare the Company’s final Accounts for external audit. 4. Financial Analysis and Advisory Functions. B. Skills and Competencies 1. Must be generally ICT savvy. 2. Proficiency in the use of MS-Word, Excel and PowerPoint must at least be at intermediate level. Competence in the use of Zoom for online meetings is essential. 3. Proficiency in the use of at least 2 Accounting Software Packages for MSMEs. 4. Attention to detail and good time management. 5. Good written and verbal communication. 6. Excellent work ethics and Integrity. C. Experience and Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least 2/2. 2. Must be a Chartered Accountant with at least 3years’ experience. 3. A minimum of 3 years’ proven Accounting work experience in a structured Organization. D. Remuneration- Very Competitive. E. Age- Not older than 32years F. Projected Resumption Date- Not later than 15th November 2026.
