About the role

Help turn Unovia’s products, experiments, and ideas into useful content people can understand, watch, and share.

Unovia is looking for a Content and Community Intern to help communicate the work behind Iris, Vera, Amber, Lana, and our custom enterprise AI systems. This 8–12 week founding internship is suited to an early-career creator who can research unfamiliar topics, develop clear content ideas, present confidently, and learn from performance data. You will work directly with the founder and contribute to live company channels.

Key responsibilities: - Research AI, work, hiring, business operations, and African technology topics and turn them into useful content angles. - Build and maintain a practical weekly content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube where appropriate. - Draft scripts, captions, carousels, short articles, and creative briefs in Unovia’s voice. - Present selected videos on camera or coordinate recordings with the founder and product team. - Edit or coordinate simple short-form video and visual assets using tools such as Canva, CapCut, or equivalent tools. - Publish approved content, monitor comments and messages, and escalate product or customer questions appropriately. - Review reach, watch time, saves, replies, qualified enquiries, and other relevant signals, then recommend what to improve.

What we are looking for: - Clear writing, confident communication, curiosity, and evidence of creating or presenting content. - Ability to research responsibly, verify claims, meet deadlines, and incorporate feedback. - Familiarity with common social platforms and basic content creation tools. - Availability for an agreed part-time schedule during the 8–12 week programme. A personal page, class project, volunteer project, or portfolio may demonstrate experience; formal employment is not required.

  • Research and translate Unovia’s products and ideas into accessible content.
  • Plan scripts, captions, carousels, articles, and a weekly publishing calendar.
  • Present selected short-form videos or coordinate founder-led recordings.
  • Publish approved content and support thoughtful community engagement.
  • Track meaningful performance signals and recommend improvements.

Portfolio-ready work on live AI products
