A custom careers landing page
Every company gets its own branded careers page, with your logo, cover photo, colours and open roles. Vera sets it up from a chat, and candidates apply straight from it.
Anyone can write a perfect CV these days. Vera reads every application for you, interviews the people who fit and checks what their CVs claim, then gives you a clear, scored record of each candidate.
Vera runs the interview. A person on your team always makes the hiring decision.
What Vera does for you
Hiring teams using Vera
“It has taken a lot of stress off me.”
“Vera reviews their applications, schedules them for an interview and also does the interview. I just get to review the interview and pick the best candidate.”
And AI has made it harder. Anyone can now write a polished CV in a few minutes, so the CV on its own tells you less than it used to. The best way to find out if someone can really do the job is to talk to them, and that’s the part Vera takes off your plate.
You tell Vera about the role. Vera reads the CVs and runs the first interviews, however many applications come in. Then you review the shortlist and decide who moves forward.
Tell Vera about the job: the must-haves, the skills you want tested, how the interview should run and how many people you want to see.
Each CV is checked against your must-haves. You can see which were met, which were missing, and the exact line Vera based that on.
You’re never charged for duplicates or files that can’t be read.
Each candidate has a real voice conversation with Vera, built around the role and their own CV. If an answer is vague, Vera asks a follow-up, and it gives people time to think.
Candidates who need it can ask for an accessible alternative.
You get the recordings, transcripts and scores side by side. So when someone asks why you picked a candidate, the answer is right there.
Vera works like an assistant you can chat with. Ask it to set up a role, go through a batch of CVs, invite people, book interviews or follow up with candidates, and it gets on with it. Anything it drafts for a candidate waits for your OK before it’s sent.
Here are the CVs from the Customer Service Officer post. Invite everyone who qualifies.
64 CVsI read all 64. 58 are for Customer Service Officer and 6 couldn’t be opened. 21 meet every must-have.
Every company gets its own branded careers page, with your logo, cover photo, colours and open roles. Vera sets it up from a chat, and candidates apply straight from it.
Describe the job in plain words and Vera builds the pipeline: the must-haves, questions, interview format and every stage from applied to hired. You can change any of it by asking.
Vera matches every CV to the right role and checks it against the must-haves. Once you’ve approved the list, it invites everyone who qualifies.
Each invitation has a booking link. Candidates pick a slot, get reminders, and their interview opens 15 minutes before the time they chose.
Invitations, confirmations and reminders go out on their own. You hear straight away if someone misses an interview, and decision emails wait for your OK.
Find a candidate, move someone forward, pull up an interview report, or get a job post written for LinkedIn, WhatsApp or Jobberman. Just ask.
During the interview, Vera picks out the claims in each CV and asks about them. Each one ends up verified, partly verified, unverified or contradicted. If a claim doesn’t hold up, the score for that skill is capped, so a polished CV can’t carry someone through on its own.
“Resolved 95% of complaints on first contact”
Explained how the rate was measured, then gave two real cases.
Verified“Kept the queue moving alone through a system outage”
Described the outage well. Vague on what they did themselves.
Partial“Led a team of six agents”
Covered two shifts for a supervisor. No example of leading anyone.
Unverified“Certified on the full product range”
Later said they had only been trained on savings accounts.
ContradictedA candidate who talks smoothly but gives no real examples won’t score higher than “adequate”. A quieter candidate who explains what they actually did will score better.
Accent, name, age, gender and appearance are left out of the scoring completely.
Some people now hide text in their CV telling the AI to rate them highly. Vera flags that as a warning sign instead of following it.
Whether someone applied first or four hundredth, the same skills are tested, with the same time and the same scorecard. Nobody gets rushed because it’s late and there are still fifty CVs to go.

If a skill never came up in the interview, Vera leaves it blank instead of guessing. And every quote in the report is checked word for word against what the candidate actually said. Anything that doesn’t match is taken out.

“I would apologise first, then check the order myself before promising anything — the last time I promised a delivery date I could not confirm, it went badly.”
Team leadership was on the scorecard for this role. The interview ran out of time before it was covered, so the report leaves it blank rather than inferring it.
Everyone who finished their interview is ranked on one page, with their score, Vera’s recommendation and the evidence a click away.

Instead of reading CVs out loud to each other, your team can play back the part of the interview you disagree about and decide together, with the same evidence in front of everyone.
So you’re not juggling four different tools and a spreadsheet.
Every application is checked against what the role actually needs, with the evidence behind each decision.
Choose the questions, skills, length and scoring for each role.
Give technical candidates practical tests with your own test cases, scored alongside the interview.
Watch or search any interview whenever your team is ready, not just when it happens.
Compare completion, skills and fit across all your candidates. Recommendations are there to help you, not to decide for you.
Anything unusual during an interview is flagged for a person to look at. Nobody is rejected automatically.
Once you reach the number of applications or interviews you set, intake closes. The limit is enforced by the system itself, not just a counter on a page.
For big campaigns, Vera looks at the whole pool before inviting anyone, so the people who applied first don’t take every interview slot.
Vera’s ranking is there to help you decide, and it’s labelled that way. Someone on your team approves who gets interviewed, and some capacity is kept back so you can add people yourself.
Every time a limit changes, it’s recorded. How long data is kept and how decisions are reviewed are set out in your agreement with us, in line with Nigeria’s data protection law (NDPA).
There’s no subscription. You buy a pack once, and an interview or CV screen is only counted when it’s finished. If something fails on our side, you get it back.
Every new workspace gets the Starter allowance free for 30 days: 30 interviews and 200 CV screens.
Graduate programmes, national campaigns and large companies are priced separately. That includes reserved capacity, help getting set up, SSO and ATS integration, a named contact and a service agreement.

Our sister product, Iris, gives job seekers honest interview practice and a list of jobs worth applying for. Working with both sides helps us understand hiring better.
Pick the role with the most applications and the least time to go through them. We’ll set it up with you, and you can read the interview records for yourself.
