Business Terms of Service
The terms under which Unovia Technologies Limited provides Vera to organisations managing recruitment.
Last updated 1 September 2026
Agreement and authorised use
Vera is operated by Unovia Technologies Limited (RC 8955644). By creating a workspace, purchasing a plan or using Vera on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
Vera may be used to manage roles, screen CVs, conduct structured first-stage interviews, communicate with applicants and support human hiring decisions. It must not be used unlawfully, deceptively or in a way that discriminates against candidates.
Plans, allowances and payment
- Starter
- NGN 15,000: 200 CV screens, 30 interviews, 50 Vera Assistant actions and unlimited active roles.

Standard plans are prepaid and are not recurring subscriptions unless the customer separately agrees to recurring billing. Paid allowances remain available until used or the workspace is closed. Failed operations that qualify as Vera technical failures may be restored according to Vera's usage controls.
New eligible workspaces may receive a 30-day Starter trial. A trial is promotional, cannot be exchanged for cash and may be withdrawn where multiple accounts or abuse are detected.
Standard setup and support
Standard setup includes workspace creation, team access, careers-page configuration, first-role setup guidance, interview-window configuration and a controlled test. Custom integrations, migration, dedicated environments, security reviews and enterprise service levels require a separate scope.
Customer responsibilities
- Lawful recruitment
- Provide candidate notices, identify an appropriate lawful basis and comply with employment, equality and data-protection law.
- Human oversight
- Review Vera's evidence and make every final hiring decision. Do not treat an AI recommendation as an automatic final decision.
- Accurate configuration
- Provide accurate role requirements, screening instructions, interview windows and authorised team members.
- Account security
- Protect login details, remove former team members and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
- Candidate data
- Upload or process only data the organisation has a lawful right to use.
Customer data and confidentiality
The customer retains its rights in job, candidate and recruitment data. The customer authorises Unovia to process that data only as needed to provide, secure and support Vera, comply with law and follow the customer's documented instructions.
Each party will protect the other party's confidential information and use it only for the agreed business relationship. Detailed processor obligations may be recorded in a Data Processing Agreement.
AI output and hiring decisions
Vera provides decision support based on the material available to it. AI-generated screening, transcripts, reports and recommendations may contain errors and must be checked by the hiring team. Vera is not a guarantee that a candidate is suitable, truthful or legally eligible for employment.
Availability, refunds and suspension
Unovia works to keep Vera reliable but does not promise uninterrupted availability. Where a paid operation fails because of a verified Vera technical fault, Unovia may restore the affected allowance, repeat the service or provide another reasonable remedy.
Unovia may suspend access for security risk, unlawful use, non-payment, abuse or material breach. The customer may stop using Vera at any time and may request export or deletion subject to the Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement and legal retention duties.
Liability and governing law
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Unovia's aggregate liability arising from Vera is limited to the fees paid by the customer during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith. Questions may be sent to admin@unovia.ai.
Changes
Unovia may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to active customers. A signed enterprise agreement or order form takes priority where it expressly differs from these standard terms.
